I have many years of experience in project development, working as a project developer, project leader and -coordinator since 1997 within different development-, investment-, information- and company projects, both with EU-financing and national financing.

Who am I?
My name is Carola Wiik and my roots are in Ostrobothnia on the west coast of Finland. I am very passionate about development, and I think development makes the world spin. In all development work it is important to know the past in order to be able to understand the present and be capable to build and develop the future.
I like to relax and reload my batteries by cycling, swimming and doing yoga. I travel whenever there is a possibility. There is an exciting world out there just waiting to be explored!

Education
I have an education in foreign trade and my first job was with the world known yachts manufacturer Baltic Yachts. This was an exciting and very interesting job in an international company. Furthermore, I have a Master’s Degree in Public Management and Leadership from the university of Åbo Akademi (2021) as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from the Swedish School of Social Science at the University of Helsinki (1999). I am specialized in EU program financial consulting. Currently I am studying to become a mental coach.
